About me as an artist: My name is Justin C. Tankersley. You currently might know me as LordIceFox, for it is my alias as an artist. I am a person who adores seeing others improve and often found gazing at others work to catch such progress. Also, many have their own muse in which they use to inspire new creations... My own is 'MUSIC'. I use the lyrics and even the tone and rhythm to create an illustrated form of what the music affects me. I have two favorite styles in which I tend to alternate between. One is more commonly known as Japanese animation, or 'Anime'. I have always loved watching anime, and my favorite artist/director is well known for his creations in this style. You may know him as Hayao Miyazaki. His beautiful and unique creations has sparked my love for Illustration, and hope to one day become an established artist like him. The second style that I love doing is a form of Macabre/realism artwork. I was always interested in horror novels, movies, comics, and games. I am a big fan of the more well known apocalyptic zombie game, called 'Resident Evil'. My love for zombies and mutated monsters grew from this very game, and therefore inspired my second style.

I started drawing my first characters when I was 7, and before that I was always found drawing trucks for my grandfather, he always told me that he loved my drawings and was impressed with how well I drew at that age. Even now, I am still drawing though my progress has slowed a bit. My belief is because I have not had the right training or push to be able to smooth out the rough edges of my work.

I hope to further my talents and my style as I progress to get my bachelors degree in illustration. I am told to be an excellent student and a talented artist.

On a side note, I also hope to continue studying German...so I can become more fluent with the language...so forgive my broken German...I occasionally try to use what I have learned so I can keep what I do know, fresh in my head. If you are a fluent speaker and have much time on your hands I would greatly appreciate your help, I do know I suffer in the conjugation of verbs and nouns...

General: I was told to be a bright person, with good characteristics. I was always known as the shy type, but never followed groups. I always made sure I was making the right decisions and acted on righteous morals. I was fairly decent in school, although I always believed I was average.

I am big lover macabre art. I love graveyards because they can be both beautiful and morbid, and the fact that you never feel alone when you are at one. (which can be good for some, and bad for others.) Though despite my unusual fascinations, I am told to be a very kind, loving, loyal, and helpful person in life.

I greatly enjoy meeting new people, though I used to be satisfied being alone. If anyone is willing to take the time to get to know me, I believe I would be someone you would love to be around.
